Kaspar Bruus Bjerre

Kaspar discovered Australian Rules Football at university and took to it with the enthusiasm of someone making up for a lifetime of being a terrible soccer player. He spent four years with the Odense Lions, where he served as captain, board member, and club president between 2015 and 2019, before helping to found the revival of the Aarhus Bombers that same year.

A Copenhagener by birth, he moved to Aarhus with his wife and now works at the university as an international recruitment manager.

As head coach of the Bombers, he's driven by inclusion, community, and encouragement - believing the best footy clubs are the ones where everyone feels welcome, regardless of experience.

Before AFL found him, he spent his teens playing punk rock, which at least prepared him for shouting on the sidelines. He's also quite possibly the shortest male player in DAFL Premier League history, though what he lacks in reach he makes up for in volume.
