Gabby Larsen

Gabby Larsen grew up in Perth and moved to Aarhus in 2019 at the age of 17. In 2024, she began playing Australian Rules Football.

Despite having limited experience in the footy or sporting world, she found the environment incredibly welcoming and inclusive, making it easy to join the club and start playing a sport for the first time. From her first introduction to the Aarhus club, she experienced it as a safe space where teammates celebrate one another, genuinely care, and consistently show up for each other. She was blown away by how encouraging everyone was, and the sense of belonging and community she has gained from showing up to trainings and games has been immense.

She feels privileged to have such a supportive space to make friends, exercise, and above all, have fun. Throughout her journey, the support, inclusion, and strong community within her local club in Aarhus have been central to both her development and her passion for the sport.
